Location: Furology by SBPC in Annerley, Brisbane Position: Gember Liaison & Sales Associate. Type: Permanent Part-Time (3 days a week).
Salary: Starting at $28/hr, increasing to $30/hr.

#### Key Responsibilities:
Phone Reception Duties: Handle incoming inquiries and manage bookings for new and regular clients.
Client Registration: Utilize online forms via Wufoo to register clients as members through phone, email, or online applications.
Administration & Management:
Converting eligible clients to our subscription services.
Promoting upgrades to transition clients to our new integrated pet Concierge delivery service system.
Promotion of Company Service Agreement to new and regular clientele to inform of pre-existing or updated service policies.
Sales Management: Taking payments using Square POS system.
Assistance in Dog Grooming:
Willingness to acquire skills required to clean and maintain pet-grooming equipment. Weekly intensive cleaning session to reset venue for following week of operations.
Adhere to mandatory workplace health and safety operations including the correct application of PPE equipment, utilise the no-lift policy, and use of restraint mechanisms for the safety of yourself and pet clientele – all included in our in-house dog logistics training curriculum!
#### Qualifications:
Previous experience with Square POS is highly advantageous; training will be provided.
Experience in the pet care industry (especially dog grooming salons) or pet care sales is preferred.
Strong technical skills with telecommunications technology, sales applications, email, and online forms.
Excellent time management, phone etiquette, and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with staff and clients.
Maintain a clean and organised workspace at reception, coupled with professional demeanour and well-dressed appearance.
#### Employment Details:
Schedule: 3 days a week, 7:45AM to 5:00 PM Tuesday, Wednesday, & Friday.
Contract: 3-month renewable contract with opportunities for full-time hours Mon- Fri for suitable candidates.

Seeking Dog Grooming Trainee
Position Title: Dog Grooming Traineeship / Our in-house “Fursmith Initiate”™ .
Location: Sapphire Blues Pet Companions (12 Aubigny St, Annerley, Brisbane).
Employment Type: - Full-Time (38 hours / 5 Days). Shift 8am until approx. 4.30pm with two paid 10 minute breaks, and unpaid 30 minute break.
- Must be able to commit to every 2nd Saturday. E.g. Tuesday to Saturday one week. Monday to Friday the next. Saturday pay rates apply.
- 2 year contract for traineeship/certification completion - Cert III in Animal Care Services (ACM30122). Certification provided by MAS National. Theory through Skills Generation with practical in-house training.
Salary: $14 - $20.70/hour plus leave benefits and 11.5% superannuation depending on age. Performance reviews conducted quarterly concurrent with pay increase (dependent on outcomes).

This traineeship provides the skills and knowledge required to work in a broad range of roles in animal care facilities and services, including boarding/day care, breeding, shelters, dog grooming salons, and pet sitting.
You will be taught to perform a range of animal care tasks under direction which involve discretion and judgement in handling animals, selecting and operating tools and equipment, maintain a clean and sanitary workstation, and problem solving.
You will be required to take responsibility for your own work including, carrying out assigned tasks, compliance with animal welfare, organising processes, solving problems, and working to schedules.

Employment Type: Part-Time 3 days/week (Monday to Friday) - can be flexible to suit you. Or Full-Time (38 hours / 5 Days) if desired. Shift 8am until approx. 4.30pm with two paid 10 minute breaks, and unpaid 30 minute break. One Saturday/month 9am to 3pm required for part-time contract.
Pay: ~$31/hour plus leave benefits and 11.5% superannuation.
Requirements: Undertake a paid trial (1 hour) where you will be required to groom one small dog. Commence initial 12 week contract. Prospect for permanent position after 12 months. Preferred minimum 12 months previous industry experience.
Roles and Responsibilities:
The successful candidate must be highly motivated, passionate about animal care, and possess extensive knowledge and practical skill necessary to groom and style a variety of popular dog breeds to a quality standard.
Perform all duties unassisted within appropriate time frames.
Complete up to 6 technical and/or basic groom services on a daily basis (depending on size category), or up to 12 with support from a bather/dryer/coat care specialist.
Safely and effectively manage and regulate pet behaviour.

Seeking Bather/Dryer NOW
Position Title: Dog Hydro-Bath & Blow-Dry Assistant / In-house “Hydro|Aero-Therapy Specialist”™
Location: Sapphire Blues Pet Companions (12 Aubigny St, Annerley, Brisbane).
Employment Type: Part-time. 3 days/week (Monday to Wednesday). Full-Time (38 hours / 5 Days) available after 3 month contract if desired. Shift 8am until approx. 4.30pm with two paid 10 minute breaks, and unpaid 30 minute break.
Salary: Up to $25/hour plus leave benefits and 11.5% superannuation depending on experience. Pay review after 3 month contract.
Requirements: Prefer completion of Certificate III Pet Care & Grooming but not necessary if moderate skills proven. Commence initial 12 week contract. Prospect for permanent position after 12 months FTE1 , or transition to Fursmith Initiate position (Traineeship) to begin grooming and styling (see above advertisement for traineeship details).
Entry Level Position Available:
The successful candidate must be highly motivated, passionate about animal care, and preferably possess the knowledge necessary to clean, dry and groom a variety of dog breeds.
Can differentiate fur types and determine respective hydro-bathing, blow-drying, and grooming requirements.
Have sufficient knowledge in full-body hydro-bathing, high-velocity drying, and stylist grooming for all dog breeds within our servicing range (Category 1 Toy to Category 6 Giant).
Skills in de-shedding & de-matting procedures for a range of coat types and breeds.
Able to operate a variety of industrial-grade pet grooming equipment (including Savel hydro-bath system, high-velocity blow-dryers, finishing stand dryers, multi-ducted drying pen complexes, non-corded clippers, range of required scissors and appropriate use for each, haemostats for ear plucking, range of blade sizes and comb attachments).
Perform sub-services when requested or required, i.e. nail clipping and dremel, ear cleansing/plucking, anti-fungal or hypo-allergenic treatments, and more.
May be required to perform up to 12 hydro-bath & blow-drying services on a daily basis (depending on category) to provide super sparkly and fresh pet companions for our in-house Fursmith Experts to style groom.
Will be required to perform all duties unassisted within appropriate time frames.
